How do I always manage to get paired up with the tournament winner during game three even though this time I had only one win and one loss? I don't mind since it was a great game but I am curious...

Shouldn't Ryan have played someone with two wins or at least a win and a draw or did we not have another player with 2 wins after game two?

Just curious how tournament game opponents are paired up.

It was a very well run and on time tourney, so no complaints here.

Heyo,

Carter and I were also 2-0, but we each had higher objective points than Ryan going into the final game. Hence why we were paired against each other. I imagine Ryan was the only other 2-0 person, and you were the highest objective 1-1 player.

And yes Alex, Carter and I played to the draw. We slaughtered each other. At the end of the game I had a little over 500 VP's left on the board, and he had a little over 400. We were 95VP's difference in my favor, but according to the scenerio rules that was a draw. Was a great game.

And I promise it was not Carter's "list" that caused him to not win the tournament. He took a very solid Space Wolf list. We just had a lot of great players turn up. Overall it was a very good tournament.

It's amazing how often two good players slaughter each other out of a win.

It was a very competitive tourney and some very close games. Good stuff all round.
